Meine ersten auff\u00e4lligen Symptome, die darauf hindeuteten, dass etwas nicht stimmt, traten auf, als ich vor etwa 10 Jahren mit Bands durch das Land tourte und jede Nacht meine Ausr\u00fcstung verlud. Ich begann, mich mit Dingen abzum\u00fchen, mit denen ich zuvor nie Probleme gehabt hatte (Treppensteigen ohne Gel\u00e4nder, Tragen gro\u00dfer Ausr\u00fcstung usw.). W\u00e4hrend des Studiums bemerkte ich immer wieder, dass kleine Dinge schwieriger wurden, aber ich ignorierte es (nat\u00fcrlich) jahrelang.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HABEN SIE ANDERE FAMILIENMITGLIEDER, DIE AN LGMD LEIDEN: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>N\u00f6. Nur ich.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WAS SIND F\u00dcR SIE DIE GR\u00d6SSTEN HERAUSFORDERUNGEN IM LEBEN MIT LGMD<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Sich anzupassen und auf Dinge zu verzichten, die ich sehr genossen habe. Ich muss bei scheinbar jeder einzelnen Bewegung extrem vorsichtig sein. Ich vermisse Dinge wie Laufen (auch wenn es nicht gerade anmutig war), Einkaufen gehen und einfach nur ungehindert von A nach B zu kommen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WAS IST IHRE GR\u00d6SSTE ERRUNGENSCHAFT?<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Beende das College, nachdem ich es auf Eis gelegt habe, um Musik zu machen und mit meinen Freunden zu reisen. Das Schreiben einer Kom\u00f6die f\u00fcr einen unabh\u00e4ngig ver\u00f6ffentlichten Film, eine Webserie und ein Buch. Nach Los Angeles ziehen und eine Karriere in der Unterhaltungs- und Medienbranche anstreben und den perfektesten Menschen der Welt heiraten.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WIE HAT LGMD SIE ZU DER PERSON GEMACHT, DIE SIE HEUTE SIND? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Es hat meine Probleml\u00f6sungsf\u00e4higkeiten erheblich verbessert; ich bin einfallsreicher, kreativer und geduldiger geworden. Ich konnte das auf meine Karriere und andere Bereiche meines Lebens anwenden, was mich definitiv zu einem besseren Teamkollegen, Freund, Ehemann und kreativen Menschen gemacht hat. Zumindest glaube ich das, und ich hoffe, andere sehen das genauso!<\/p>\n<p><strong>WAS SOLL DIE WELT \u00dcBER LGMD WISSEN? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ein guter Anfang w\u00e4re es, die ganze Welt wissen zu lassen, dass es diese Krankheit tats\u00e4chlich gibt. Dass es f\u00fcr die Betroffenen ein gro\u00dfer Kampf ist, dass aber so viele von uns ein gl\u00fcckliches\/produktives Leben f\u00fchren und dass es Behandlungen und Heilmittel am Horizont gibt, und dass wir uns \u00fcber die Hilfe und das Verst\u00e4ndnis aller freuen w\u00fcrden, um sie bis zur Ziellinie zu bringen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WENN IHRE LGMD MORGEN \"GEHEILT\" WERDEN K\u00d6NNTE, WAS W\u00dcRDEN SIE ALS ERSTES TUN WOLLEN?<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Mann... ich denke st\u00e4ndig dar\u00fcber nach, also habe ich den Tag schon geplant: Ich w\u00fcrde mit meinem Hund einen sch\u00f6nen, langen Spaziergang machen (vielleicht laufen?). Ich w\u00fcrde alle Lebensmittel einkaufen, anstatt meine kleine Frau damit zu beauftragen.
