In welchem Alter wurde bei Ihnen die Diagnose gestellt?<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Die Diagnose wurde bei mir im Alter von 11 Jahren gestellt.<\/p>\n

Was waren Ihre ersten Symptome?<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Zu meinen ersten Symptomen geh\u00f6rten: St\u00fcrze, M\u00fcdigkeit, Gehen auf den Zehenspitzen. Au\u00dferdem konnte ich bei k\u00f6rperlichen Aktivit\u00e4ten nicht mit anderen Menschen meines Alters mithalten.<\/p>\n

Haben Sie andere Familienmitglieder, die LGMD haben?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ja, ich habe eine Schwester mit LGMD2A<\/p>\n

Was sind f\u00fcr Sie die gr\u00f6\u00dften Herausforderungen im Leben mit LGMD?<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Die gr\u00f6\u00dfte Herausforderung bestand darin, mich an die Ver\u00e4nderungen meines K\u00f6rpers anzupassen, Formen der Verteidigung gegen m\u00f6gliche St\u00fcrze zu entwickeln, Taktiken beim Treppensteigen und -absteigen zu entwickeln, darauf zu achten, dass ich einige Hindernisse nicht zu leichtfertig \u00fcbertrete, und immer einen Stuhl zur Unterst\u00fctzung zu suchen - vor allem, wenn ich von einem Stuhl aufstehe und den Boden ber\u00fchre. Ich versuche immer, mich vor allem in Acht zu nehmen, was mich zu Fall bringen k\u00f6nnte.<\/p>\n

Was ist Ihre gr\u00f6\u00dfte Errungenschaft?<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Ich habe gelernt, Gitarre zu spielen! Das war eine gro\u00dfe Herausforderung, denn die Schwierigkeit war enorm - vor allem beim Halten des Instruments und bei der Bewegung mit meinen Armen, um die Saiten der Gitarre zu spielen. Das kann sehr anstrengend sein, aber ich schaffe es trotzdem.<\/p>\n

Wie hat LGMD Sie zu der Person gemacht, die Sie heute sind?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Das Leben mit LGMD hat mich gelehrt und lehrt mich heute, zu k\u00e4mpfen und dem Leben mehr Wert beizumessen. Das \u00dcberleben in einer so schwierigen Welt erfordert gro\u00dfe Anstrengungen, und es macht mich zu einem besseren Menschen, vor allem im Umgang mit anderen. Es gibt Situationen, in denen wir leben, die nur diejenigen wirklich kennen und verstehen, die den gleichen Kampf f\u00fchren. Es gibt eine Absicht Gottes in all den Leben dieser Welt. Ich glaube, LGMD hat mir ein Gef\u00fchl im Leben gegeben, die gr\u00f6\u00dfte Herausforderung, die ich haben konnte. Wir sind Gegner, und wie bei jedem guten Kampf habe ich die Absicht, bis zum Ende zu k\u00e4mpfen - und nat\u00fcrlich zu gewinnen!<\/p>\n

Was m\u00f6chten Sie der Welt \u00fcber LGMD mitteilen?<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Die Welt muss \u00fcber LGMD Bescheid wissen, denn es gibt viele Menschen, die mit dieser Krankheit leben. Es ist wichtig, zu wissen, wie man der Sache helfen kann. Das Wissen darum macht uns nicht besser oder schlechter als andere Menschen, die k\u00f6rperliche Einschr\u00e4nkungen haben. Und hoffentlich wird die Welt in naher Zukunft die beste aller Nachrichten erfahren - dass es eine Heilung f\u00fcr diese Krankheit gibt!<\/p>\n

Wenn Ihre LGMD morgen \"geheilt\" werden k\u00f6nnte, was w\u00fcrden Sie als Erstes tun wollen?<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Wenn ich morgen geheilt w\u00e4re, w\u00fcrde ich den Namen Gottes verherrlichen. Ich w\u00fcrde Dinge tun wie Fu\u00dfball spielen, Treppen steigen, sitzen und aufstehen, ohne dass mir jemand hilft. Es sind diese einfachen, allt\u00e4glichen Aktivit\u00e4ten, denen die meisten Menschen nicht viel Aufmerksamkeit schenken, die aber f\u00fcr uns Rollstuhlfahrer ein Traum sind. Eine Heilung w\u00e4re ein epischer Sieg, einer, der in die Geschichtsb\u00fccher eingehen w\u00fcrde.<\/p>\n
