Bei mir wurde die Diagnose 2009 im Alter von 27 Jahren gestellt.<\/p>\n

WAS WAREN IHRE ERSTEN SYMPTOME? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Meine ersten Symptome waren Schwierigkeiten beim Treppensteigen, beim Aufstehen vom Boden oder beim Aufstehen von einem Sitz\/Toilette.<\/p>\n

Die gr\u00f6\u00dfte Herausforderung f\u00fcr mich ist der mentale Teil, meine Grenzen zu verstehen. Zu wissen, dass mein Leben nicht so ist, wie ich es mir jemals vorgestellt habe. Zu wissen, was mein Mann und ich alles \u00e4ndern mussten, um mit dieser st\u00e4ndig fortschreitenden Krankheit zurechtzukommen und sie zu bew\u00e4ltigen.<\/p>\n

WAS IST IHRE GR\u00d6SSTE ERRUNGENSCHAFT: <\/strong><\/p>\n

Ich glaube, meine gr\u00f6\u00dfte Errungenschaft nach der Diagnose dieser Krankheit ist meine Ehe. Wir heirateten 2 Monate, bevor ich mich allen Tests unterzog, um festzustellen, was los war. In Krankheit und Gesundheit kam viel fr\u00fcher, als wir es uns je h\u00e4tten vorstellen k\u00f6nnen, aber wir sind heute st\u00e4rker, weil wir es geschafft haben.<\/p>\n

WIE HAT LGMD SIE ZU DER PERSON GEMACHT, DIE SIE HEUTE SIND? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Diese Krankheit ist lebensver\u00e4ndernd. Obwohl ich von meiner Familie und meinen Freunden abh\u00e4ngig bin, bin ich immer noch ziemlich unabh\u00e4ngig. Ich fahre mit der Handsteuerung, ich bin einfallsreich, wenn es darum geht, Dinge f\u00fcr mich selbst zu tun, und in gewisser Weise bin ich st\u00e4rker, auch wenn meine Muskeln schw\u00e4cher sind. Das geschah nicht alles auf einmal. Es dauerte seine Zeit, bis ich erkannte, dass ich eine starke Person bin, obwohl meine Muskeln schwach sind.<\/p>\n

WAS SOLL DIE WELT \u00dcBER LGMD WISSEN? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Ich m\u00f6chte, dass die Welt wei\u00df und versteht, dass diese Krankheit so schwierig ist. Manchmal erinnert sich mein Gehirn nicht daran, dass ich etwas nicht tun kann, und ich fange einfach an, es zu tun, nur um festzustellen, dass ich es nicht kann. Ich m\u00f6chte, dass sie wissen, dass jemand mit LGMD sofort nach dem Aufwachen dar\u00fcber nachdenken muss, wie er den Tag angehen will. Die Welt soll wissen, dass diese Krankheit, auch wenn sie etwas unsichtbar ist, real ist und es extrem schwierig ist, damit umzugehen. Nur weil jemand mit dieser Krankheit unterwegs ist, hei\u00dft das nicht, dass es ihm gut geht oder er geheilt ist. Wir m\u00fcssen weiterhin unser Leben leben, auch wenn wir hinter unserem L\u00e4cheln ersch\u00f6pft sind oder Schmerzen haben. Die Welt sollte auch wissen, dass es eine Heilung geben wird. Es gibt so viele Menschen, die daran arbeiten, und die Fortschritte, die in den wenigen Jahren, in denen ich die Diagnose erhalten habe, gemacht wurden, sind enorm.<\/p>\n
