IN WELCHEM ALTER WURDE BEI IHNEN DIE DIAGNOSE GESTELLT? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Ich habe die Diagnose erst letztes Jahr im Alter von 21 Jahren erhalten.<\/p>\n

WAS WAREN IHRE ERSTEN SYMPTOME?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Zu meinen ersten Symptomen geh\u00f6rten schmerzende F\u00fc\u00dfe und Beine, rutschende F\u00fc\u00dfe beim Gehen, M\u00fcdigkeit und Schwierigkeiten beim Heben von Gegenst\u00e4nden, die f\u00fcr eine Person meines Alters und meiner K\u00f6rpergr\u00f6\u00dfe eigentlich leicht zu heben sein sollten.<\/p>\n

HABEN SIE ANDERE FAMILIENMITGLIEDER, DIE AN LGMD LEIDEN:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nein, ich bin der Einzige.<\/p>\n

WAS SIND F\u00dcR SIE DIE GR\u00d6SSTEN HERAUSFORDERUNGEN IM LEBEN MIT LGMD: <\/strong><\/p>\n

Schon die einfachsten Dinge k\u00f6nnen meinem K\u00f6rper Schmerzen bereiten (Putzen, Anprobieren von Kleidung, Einkaufen usw.). St\u00e4ndige M\u00fcdigkeit ist immer ein Kampf. Ich lerne, Priorit\u00e4ten bei meinen t\u00e4glichen Aktivit\u00e4ten zu setzen und zu akzeptieren, dass ich nicht immer tun kann, was ich will.<\/p>\n

WAS IST IHRE GR\u00d6SSTE ERRUNGENSCHAFT?<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Ich beende das College, um Grundschul-\/Sonderschullehrerin zu werden.<\/p>\n

WIE HAT LGMD SIE ZU DER PERSON GEMACHT, DIE SIE HEUTE SIND? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Meine Diagnose ist weniger als ein Jahr her, aber ich habe gemerkt, dass mir das Erreichen meiner Ziele wichtiger ist. Au\u00dferdem habe ich mich dieses Jahr verlobt, und ich bin so froh, dass wir schon vor der Diagnose zusammen waren und er mir trotzdem einen Heiratsantrag gemacht hat! Ich habe immer noch Ziele.<\/p>\n

WAS SOLL DIE WELT \u00dcBER LGMD WISSEN? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Ich m\u00f6chte, dass die Welt wei\u00df, dass wir nicht faul sind. Wir w\u00fcnschten, wir k\u00f6nnten aktiver sein. Jeden Tag denken wir dar\u00fcber nach, was wir gerne tun w\u00fcrden, aber wir haben nicht die Energie oder die Schmerztoleranz daf\u00fcr. Ich m\u00f6chte, dass die Welt wei\u00df, dass wir Menschen mit Hoffnungen und Tr\u00e4umen sind, genau wie sie.<\/p>\n
