Die Diagnose wurde bei mir im Alter von 33 Jahren gestellt.<\/p>\n

Ich war oft steif und hatte Schmerzen, vor allem in den Beinen, und wurde dann schwach.<\/p>\n

In meiner Familie wurde bei niemandem sonst LGMD diagnostiziert.<\/p>\n

Was sind f\u00fcr Sie die gr\u00f6\u00dften Herausforderungen im Leben mit LGMD?<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Eine meiner gr\u00f6\u00dften Herausforderungen sind die t\u00e4glichen Schmerzen und die Schw\u00e4che. Als ich die Diagnose erhielt, wurde mir gesagt, dass ich irgendwann so schwach sein w\u00fcrde, dass ich einen Rollstuhl brauchen w\u00fcrde. Ich hatte keine Vorstellung von den Schmerzen, die ich erleben w\u00fcrde. Die starke Atrophie meiner Muskeln \u00fcbt zu viel Druck auf meine anderen Muskeln aus, so dass sie rei\u00dfen.<\/p>\n

Was ist Ihre gr\u00f6\u00dfte Errungenschaft?<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Meine gr\u00f6\u00dfte Errungenschaft ist, dass ich immer noch mit Hilfe eines Stocks gehen kann.<\/p>\n

Was m\u00f6chten Sie der Welt \u00fcber LGMD mitteilen?<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Die Gliederg\u00fcrtel-Muskeldystrophie ist eine lebenslange Erkrankung, die sich allm\u00e4hlich verschlimmert. Ich m\u00f6chte, dass andere mehr Mitgef\u00fchl f\u00fcr diejenigen aufbringen, die unter chronischen Schmerzen leiden. Es gibt keine Heilung f\u00fcr diese Krankheit.<\/p>\n

Wenn Ihre LGMD morgen \"geheilt\" werden k\u00f6nnte, was w\u00fcrden Sie als Erstes tun wollen?<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Wenn meine LGMD morgen geheilt werden k\u00f6nnte, w\u00fcrde ich als Radiologietechnologin arbeiten gehen. Au\u00dferdem w\u00fcrde ich mit meinen Kindern und meinem Mann joggen und Rad fahren gehen.<\/p>\n
