I began to struggle a bit doing things I\u2019d previously never had problems with (going up stairs without using a handrail, carrying large gear, etc.)\u00a0 I continued to notice small things getting more difficult through college but (of course) ignored it for years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u3054\u5bb6\u65cf\u306bLGMD\u306e\u65b9\u304c\u3044\u3089\u3063\u3057\u3083\u3044\u307e\u3059\u304b\uff1f <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nope. Just me.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LGMD\u3068\u5171\u306b\u751f\u304d\u308b\u4e0a\u3067\u3001\u6700\u3082\u56f0\u96e3\u3060\u3068\u611f\u3058\u308b\u3053\u3068\u306f\u4f55\u3067\u3059\u304b\uff1f<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Adjusting and adapting and giving up things I\u2019ve greatly enjoyed. Having to be extremely careful with seemingly every single movement. I greatly miss things like going for a run (even if it wasn\u2019t quite graceful), walking to get groceries, and just getting from point A to point B uninhibited.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u3042\u306a\u305f\u306e\u6700\u5927\u306e\u529f\u7e3e\u306f\u4f55\u3067\u3059\u304b<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Finishing college after putting it on hold to play music and travel all over with my friends. Writing comedy for an independently released movie, web series, and book. Moving to Los Angeles and pursuing\/accomplishing a career in entertainment\/media and marrying the most perfect person for me in the world.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LGMD\u306f\u4eca\u306e\u3042\u306a\u305f\u306b\u3069\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306a\u5f71\u97ff\u3092\u4e0e\u3048\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u304b\uff1f <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s greatly improved my problem solving skills; making me more resourceful, creative, and patient. I\u2019ve been able to apply that to my career and other parts of my life that have definitely made me a better teammate, friend, husband, and creative person. At least I think it has and I hope others would agree!<\/p>\n<p><strong>LGMD\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u4e16\u9593\u306b\u4f55\u3092\u77e5\u3063\u3066\u3082\u3089\u3044\u305f\u3044\u3067\u3059\u304b\uff1f <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A good start would be getting the entire world to know it actually exists. That it\u2019s a major struggle for those affected but so many of us are living happy\/productive lives, and there are treatments and cures on the horizon that we\u2019d love everyone\u2019s help and understanding in pushing them to the finish line.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u3082\u3057\u660e\u65e5\u3001\u3042\u306a\u305f\u306eLGMD\u304c\u300c\u6cbb\u308b\u300d\u3068\u3057\u305f\u3089\u3001\u307e\u305a\u4f55\u3092\u3057\u305f\u3044\u3067\u3059\u304b\uff1f<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Man\u2026I think about this constantly so I already have the day planned: I\u2019d take my dog for a nice, long walk (maybe run?). I\u2019d carry all the groceries in instead of needing my small wife to deal with it.
