Information will be provided by experts in the field and symposiums offer an opportunity for individuals living with LGMD and their loved ones to connect socially.<\/p>\n<p>The MDA Engage LGMD Symposia will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Speakers and Topics:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Research and Clinical Trials- Presented by Dr. Nick Johnson from VCU<\/p>\n<p>Nutrition- Presented by Mary Jane Voss, RDN, LDN, from M Health Fairview University of MN Masonic Children\u2019s Hospital<\/p>\n<p>Genetic Testing- Presented by Katelyn Payne, GC, from IU Riley Children&#8217;s<\/p>\n<p>Adaptive Equipment and Technology- Presented by Amber Ward, MS, OTR\/L, BCPR, ATP\/SMS, FAOTA, from Atrium Health<\/p>\n<p>There is no cost to members of the MDA community or healthcare providers to attend the event, however registration is required.
