I have a broad background; I studied biochemistry and mechanisms of human disease during my undergraduate and graduate degrees. During my postdoctoral studies, I focused on mitochondrial function in stroke and neurodegenerative disease models (Niemann Pick) before joining the muscular dystrophy community.
